Born in Genoa, Italy, Paolo Errico now lives in Milan, where he completed a degree in Fashion. After working for international brands such as Calvin Klein and Versace, he joined Ermenegildo zegna in 2000 to launch the Agnona women's line. In 2004, he created his own eponymous label and presented his first collection in Milan.

"The year 2010, which I spent between Milan and Marseille, was decisive: it enabled me to launch my brand internationally. The one-week-a-month meetings with professionals nourished me, even if it was difficult - I had to juggle my diary. I refined my project, made progress in my thinking and developed new commercial contracts, notably by taking part in Who's Next and the MC21 showroom. Design is a solitary activity; to progress, we - I - need to exchange ideas and discuss. Today's market is global and extremely competitive. We need to fine-tune our creations if we want to break through. The Mediterranean basin is rich in history, but also in modernity. We can't speak of a school of style, but we do have a common culture. It's up to us to carry it high and make our voice heard tomorrow.
