Education and
support
The Maison Mode Méditerranée's scientific vision covers both the cultural history of fashion in the Mediterranean and Africa, and the dynamics of creation and development of contemporary know-how. It builds bridges for reflection and exchange between all communities: institutions and fashion professionals, students and researchers, manufacturers and fashion designers.
Since 1989, the Fonds de Dotation Maison Mode Méditerranée has supported training and education in the fashion professions. In 2019, its work will culminate in the launch of grants for doctoral researchers in fashion studies.
2009: Associate partner in the creation of Casamoda Academy, the École Supérieure de Création et de Mode de Casablanca, the first fashion design school in the Kingdom of Morocco.
2010 : partenaire du lancement des cursus Masters Mode au sein de Aix-Marseille Université. En 2025 le partenariat avec l’AMU se renforce pour permettre aux chercheurs/historiens lauréats des Prix MMM de collaborer au cycle d’étude des masters.
2022: partner of the "Ex Voto" educational project run by the Itinérance Méditerranée association, winners of the 2021-2023 Culture and Heritage grant. In collaboration with ENSAD and Mucem.
2025: collaboration with IFM - Institut Français de la Mode, for the "Les Correspondances Vernaculaires" research project.
