MOTIVATIONS
The transition to a well-implemented EcoDesign approach that could gradually lead us to be eco-sustainable and provide an approximation of global practices and requirements. This is a difficult and constantly evolving path that involves and takes a lot of resources from a small developing design brand. The opportunity to have a wider audience through coaching, support and strategic mentoring from international experts could take our fashion statement to another level, which is what I'm looking forward to from the OpenMyMed prize. As a women's designer with a unique story from Beirut, an international platform like the OpenMyMed prize can launch my career in an incredible way.

The garments we're developing for the last two seasons are focused on implementing the EcoDesign philosophy, conceived and designed to minimize fabric waste and by minimizing the use of accessories and using zero zippers; the buttons used are made from 80% biodegradable materials. Most of the fabrics used are recycled or eco-smart. Production is locally sourced in Portugal. Over the years, the brand has supported various social causes and participated in philanthropic/charitable events.
