Historian, Weston Artistic Director, Director of the Azzedine Alaïa Foundation

A fashion historian, initiator of the Moda Povera movement, Artistic Director at Weston and Trustee of the Azzedine Alaïa Foundation, Olivier Saillard began his career in Marseille, where he was curator of the Musée de la Mode until 2010.

A free spirit, he imposes a contemporary program by opening the fashion museum to young make-up talents Topolino, Cut Barnabé and on themes that are revolutionizing our wardrobes: L'homme objet, Fashion and Sport, swimwear...

In 2010, he became the Director of the Palais Galliera, where he multiplied his fashion performances, acclaimed by fashion critic Suzy Menkes. In 2020, Olivier Saillard joined the Fonds de Dotation Maison Mode Méditerranée, chaired by his friend Maryline Bellieud-Vigouroux.
