PRESIDENT AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, SESSÙN - 2010
"I have a very emotional relationship with MMM. When I decided to launch the Sessùn adventure, my parents were teachers, so I had no entrepreneurial experience. Maryline Bellieud-Vigouroux and her team really played a relay role. They encouraged me. In 1999, I was selected for the Charte des Créateurs. Today, I sit on the MMM Board of Directors.
The development of Sessùn doesn't leave me much time, but it's important for me to get involved. The response to my discreet fashion - the opposite of ostentatious - shows that there is not just one style, but many styles in Marseille. Far from clichés. Yes, our way of life is less stressful than in Paris, where I like to immerse myself in culture and exhibitions.
But I'm deeply attached to my city. I need Marseille, its light, its water, its landscapes. I love swimming after a day's work, eating sardines, strolling around the Old Port. I feel like I belong to the Mediterranean.
