For the Institut français de la mode (IFM), it was logical and natural to support the MMM. The more united our industry is, the stronger it will be. There's no spirit of competition between us, but on the contrary, a real complementarity. Aix-Marseille Université (AMU), with its Bachelor's and now Master's programs, offers an excellent alternative for students from France and abroad. Demand is growing all the time. Faced with our competitors, we need structures capable of welcoming all these young people from Asia, the Mediterranean basin, Europe or South America who want to study in France. The meeting in Marseille between young designers from the Mediterranean basin and fashion professionals shows the way; these exchanges are essential to support young designers, to lead them along the path to success, not only creative, but also entrepreneurial, and to perpetuate their projects".
