EVGENIA TABAKOVA

The White Tent duo was born in 2007 from the meeting of Evgenia, originally from Russia, and Pedro, who grew up in Portugal. Both trained in London, she at Central Saint Martins, he at the London College of Fashion. As soon as they created their brand, they showed their work at the ModaLisboa festival.

"We are convinced that we need to be in front of professionals to enable our brand, White Tent, to grow and develop. It's useful to have the opportunity to reflect and exchange ideas on subjects that concern both the creation and management of a company, but more than that, it's essential for us to anticipate the major trends that will profoundly change behavior. We are acutely aware of the need to integrate the environmental dimension into our design. Our brand is a 21st-century company, and cannot evolve without taking into account the major issues of our time - be they environmental protection or the social responsibility that falls to us as entrepreneurs and creators. Being able to explain this to fashion experts, through the meetings we had at MMMM but also during the Who's Next trade show, was very beneficial for the development of our company."

Mediterranean Fashion Prize (MFP 2010-2018): a prize dedicated to designers from the Mediterranean basin, with a program of e-learning and expert guidance, leading to a week in Marseille with the entire graduating class.
