PRIX FRAGONARD / ACCESSORY DIVISION

The Prize consists of an artist's residency at the Fragonard archives in Grasse to study Provencal heritage, and particularly boutis (a UNESCO intangible cultural heritage), and to propose a contemporary interpretation that will integrate the Maison Fragonard's heritage collection. Each of the prizewinners will have a residency with the Maison Fragonard teams to develop their project.

Emma Bruschi was awarded the Prix M19 des Métiers d'Art Chanel in 2020 at the Hyères Festival, and collaborates with numerous fashion designers such as the eco-responsible Amélie Pichard. Emma Bruschi also won the public vote for this award. The first edition of this grant establishes the MMM Endowment Fund in its cultural vocation of sharing know-how and studying fashion heritage within a global cultural environment. Emma Bruschi will take up an artist's residency to create and develop a reinterpretation of boutis and other Provençal heritage artifacts at the heart of the accessories range.
