
To update the visual identity created in 1947 by Max Ponty for the Gitanes brand, SEITA commissioned a series of visual artists, poster artists, photographers, designers and fashion designers.
Step by step, SEITA will build up a rich cultural heritage of 200 works, including 50 unique pieces designed by the great names in international fashion.
An inexhaustible source of inspiration, every couturier and designer has been enamored with "his or her Gipsy", sometimes intimate, seductive and bewitching, like Chantal Thomass's "a Blue Angel of the Mediterranean", or Azzedine Alaïa's prophetic, ironic and domineering Gipsy.
SEITA chose to present this exhibition at the Espace Mode Méditerranée (museum), 50 GypsyWoman confronted all the trends of contemporary design without shyness or flattery.
