At the Musée de la Mode, our aim has always been to showcase Marseille-born international designers as often as possible, and to give them carte blanche to present their creative processes in the construction of their projects.

Following on from the Topolino (make-up artist) exhibition, Barnabé's hairstyling debut at the Musée de la mode. A beautician inspired by the exoticism of his travels, he is the leader of a generation that is changing the profession, which is essentially linked to the image of fashion.

His aesthetic vision of hairstyling is that of a sculptural artist. He elevates hairstyles to the status of finery. The book "Cut", produced for the exhibition, reveals the skills of this magician of emotions and desires, captured by the most sought-after photographers by fashion designers and the fashion press, such as Jean Baptiste Mondino, Ellen Von Unwerth, Jean Paul Goude...
